Childhood Imaginary Companion Survey

Many children interact with imaginary friends, invisible companions, animals, characters, spirits, or other beings. Researchers have studied these experiences for decades, but relatively little is known about how people themselves understand these relationships across the lifespan.

This survey explores childhood companion experiences and how people interpret them today.
